Saint Michael's Music and Arts
Brent Knoll, Somerset
Saint Michael’s Music and Arts was established in Brent Knoll in 2004 to establish a cultural centre for the benefit of the community and to produce a wide and varying programme of events. All concerts are held in the parish church of Saint Michael which holds a capacity audience of 250 and is a venue having very fine acoustics.
In the summer we produce a professional open-air event, currently Shakespeare in the Garden, performed in the grounds of Ivyclad Hall, a Queen Anne house in Brent Knoll with a walled garden and the audience is encouraged to bring their picnics and seats. Our audiences come from a wide area as Brent Knoll is centrally and ideally situated being only one mile from junction 22 on the M5 and easy access from the A38.
As an organisation we have many people to thank for their encouragement, help and kindness in supporting our ambitious programme by way of advertising, grants and sponsorship. All their help is greatly appreciated and their support is acknowledged at the side of the website pages. 2012 promises to be another exciting year as you will see from our programme. We do hope that you will take the opportunity to come and be entertained and you will be sure of a warm welcome.
